TGIM Episode 2

Thanks for tuning in to TGIM Episode 2. I know it’s been seven days right? And some of the stuff I told you last week has kind of worn off. You started off on fire on Monday, on Tuesday you were pumped up and by Wednesday (hump week) it kind of came off but I need you to say it with me; open up your mouth, stick your chest out, shoulders erect –are you ready? “Thank God it’s Monday” come on and say it “Thank God it’s Monday”. Listen to me I don’t care how you feel, brush it off.
Come on, “Thank God it’s Monday” thank God it’s Monday. This is TGIM Episode 2 so get ready!

TGIM Episode 2

That’s principle number one of TGIM Episode 2, out of your mouth with your words you have the ability to speak “Life or death”. What I need you to do is, I need you to make a decision this week –I don’t care what the weather is, I don’t care what the circumstances are, I don’t care what the situation is, I want you to speak into existence how you want your week to be.
So no matter what happens I want you to say “Thank God it’s Monday” and remember whatever you speak is the reality, if you say “It’s going to be a negative week” guess what? It’s gonna be a negative week so remember your words are powerful and in your words you create either life or death so make the decision to speak positivity and make the decision to say that which is powerful.

I once heard a Wise man say ‘Don’t fake till you make it, feel until it’s real” that’s right don’t fake it till you make it, feel until it’s real you gotta learn to control your emotions and don’t let your emotions control you. If you wake and you feel like you’re having a bad day, listen to me don’t let your emotions drive you, you’re not a child anymore, you drive your emotions.

TGIM Episode 2 Think Positive

TGIM Episode 2

Listen to me if you feel sad; if you feel depressed think positive thoughts. You say “Eric how do I do it?” alright I got a tip for you “if you’re a person who is always negative, very pessimistic, always seeing things from a negative side do yourself a favor buy yourself a devotional” that’s right buy yourself a devotional a 365 day devotional, read the devotional every day –you say “look I’m not into devotionals, I don’t like devotionals” alright well go get the comics. Every time you feel down and out, read the comics –I don’t care what you have to do, get your favorite movie make a playlist on your iPod or your mp3 player, whatever you have to do but when you start feeling down and out, you start feeling negative, you feeling gloomy I want you to do yourself a favor and don’t stay in that funk.

Play some positive music, watch one of your favorite shows, read the comics, read the devotional, find a friend who’s motivational, who’s inspirational or you can go to E.T the hip hop preacher and watch some of my videos and that outta get you pumped up.

My last and final thought to you from TGIM Episode 2 is “Don’t sweat the small stuff” and guess what? It’s all small stuff. Within a 24 hour period, you only have so much energy –please don’t give your energy away, use all your energy to make your goals and your dreams become a reality.
But you’re saying “Eric you don’t understand, I got a traffic jam every day when I’m going to work” look don’t sweat the small stuff, use that opportunity to write a thank you letter, or write a letter to a long lost friend, or text somebody to tell them how much you care.
You say “Eric you don’t understand, I got haters at my job” if it’s a hater, learn to use that energy in a positive way. Don’t let your haters get to you because at the end of the day that’s all they’re trying to do, so learn to use your haters to make yourself successful.
Remember, don’t sweat the small stuff –and it’s all small stuff. That’s the final principle of TGIM Episode 2.

TGIM Episode 2 Bonus

TGIM Episode 2 Eric Thomas Principles

Alright, I know i told you I was going to give you three points but I got a bonus for you alright. For those of you who are really going through it you’re like “Eric I love you” –as a matter of fact I want to thank those first 80 people on Monday who went to Youtube, who went to Facebook and looked this up and for those of you especially who send back the comment and I especially want to thank that one person who said that “A negative times a negative is a positive only in math” thanks for the comment.

For those of you who are really going through it and you’re like “Man Eric, I feel like giving up, my job is difficult, while I appreciate this motivation” –man you just don’t understand. I want to read something to you, something I read whenever I get down and out, it’s a poem it says “Often the goal is nearer than, it seems to a faint and faltering man. Often the struggler has given up, when he might have captured the Victor’s cup and he learned too late when the night slipped down, how close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out the silver tint of the clouds of doubt and you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far so stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit, and when things seem worst that you must not quit.”

It’s your boy E.T, your motivator and inspirator look I’ll see you again next week for another edition of TGIM (Thank God it’s Monday) and remember you’re not a victim you’re a victor and if can look up, you can get up. It’s your boy E.T I’m out, see you next week. Thanks for watching TGIM Episode 2
